What happens at a Westcoast Harmony Chorus rehearsal . . . should happen to YOU! 

We are a diverse group of women and marginalized genders who love to sing, perform, and have fun!

 

Whether you're looking to satisfy your competitive spirit, or you're excited to be part of a strong-knit team of musicians, Westcoast is the place for you! 

 

Due to the ever-changing COVID restrictions, we may be rehearsing live in person, or virtually, or in a hybrid model. Whatever the format, you can be sure that you will experience fun, laughter, connection, and tons of education!

Can I come and visit a rehearsal?

Absolutely! We love having guests at all of our rehearsals! We rehearse each Wednesday from 7:15 to 10:00 pm, at 9574 – 160th Street, Surrey, BC. Please ensure you reach out to us here to let us know you'll be attending, and so that we can confirm that rehearsal is live and in-person!

Are you accepting new members? 

Yes! We welcome new members of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels! For membership and audition information, contact membership@westcoastsings.com. 

 

But I haven't sung in a while . . . 

Our members come from a variety of skill levels – from music teachers to shower singers. While a musical background or the ability to read music will help you, these are not requirements for membership. Nor is it necessary to be a “trained” singer. Every Westcoast rehearsal is a vocal lesson, and you will receive ongoing personal and group vocal and performance training. 

 

What will I experience as a member?

We think we've found the perfect combo of constant challenge and camaraderie – our members make lifelong friends, and we always challenge each other to achieve higher levels of excellence.

As a member, you'll get full access to our always-growing repertoire and learning materials. In addition to our esteemed musical leadership, we regularly bring in coaches from around the world to help us master our voices and our ensemble sound! We compete at the regional and international levels, and we have the opportunity to travel to compete. We also perform throughout the year for large audiences. We have become known for our "Sing-a-Thons" and our biennial shows.

Although we love to work hard, we have events each year that allow us to have fun outside of rehearsals – Pub Nights, away retreat weekends, and more!
