Frenzy Quartet, with our director Anne Downton, takes the crowns in Las Vegas as the 2017 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champion! They are only the third quartet from Canada to achieve this huge accomplishment.

Patti Thorpe wins Canadian Music Educator (CMEA) Award
First Canadian to win the Canadian Music Educator (CMEA) Award is Patti Thorpe of Langley, BC. Sweet Adelines International will be awarding our very own Patti Thorpe with the first ever Canadian Music Educator (CMEA) Award. She will be recognized In Las Vegas on the International Stage at the MGM Grand on October 20, 2016 after the chorus competition in Vegas. Patti is the music director at Langley Secondary School, a section leader with Westcoast Harmony Chorus and is instrumental in starting the Young Women in Harmony workshop in the Lower Mainland over 10 years ago . Congratulations, Patti!
